A residence in San Francisco where the late actor Robin Williams raised his children for more than two decades has sold for $ 18 million.
The Italian -style Renaissance villa, built in 1926, is located in the exclusive neighborhood of the Cliff sea and includes nearly 11,000 square meters in three stories, Kron4 reported.
Property, at 540 El Camino del Mar, offers panoramic views of the Golden Gate bridge, Marin Headlands and the Pacific Ocean.
Designed by architect Earle Bertz, the property combines the old elegance with greatness, displaying six bedrooms, six bathrooms and gardens manicmed behind a closed perimeter.
Williams, who won an Oscar for “Good Will Hunting” and starred in beloved films like “Ms. Doubt,” bought the house with his wife, Marsha Garces Williams, in 1991 for $ 3.2 million.
Coupleifti raised their children at home before Garces Williams kept ownership after their divorce in 2010.
Originally ranked for $ 25 million in 2023, the residence was described as “one of the most prominent properties of San Francisco’s assets”, combining “the period of elegance and luxury scale with modern sensitivity, joy and vibrancy”, in the previous order .
Property, worship with secret rooms and hidden crossings, was designed for his children.
“It’s a beautiful, happy home,” Marsha said earlier, told Global Mansion when she was ranked for the first time, adding that now their children have grown up, she was ready to shrink.
“We had many, many fantastic years of fun and games and joy there.”
Additional inclusions include a library and a media room, both boasting French doors leading to outdoor environments.
“Marsha and Robin Williams took the house in studies and rebuilt it in the early 1990s, updating all the main systems,” said Compass agent Steven Mavromihalis for The Post in a state.
“They expanded the house to its 10,598 square meters of current three levels. However, they receive great peace appear rare and valuable building materials used in 1926, which are simply no longer available in building houses modern. “
Williams died of suicide in 2014 at the age of 63, just years after his death, it was revealed that he had suffered from Lewy’s body madness.
