Exclusive | Jessica Chastain re-lists at her NYC home that previously belonged to Leonard Bernstein-with a price landing

Oscar’s winning actress Jessica Chastain is once again trying to sell her exquisite manhattan co-op by Carnegie Hall.

The four-bedroom house, 3.5 bathrooms in Osborne-a lot coveted by the first buildings of luxury apartments in America-one belonged to the legendary composer Leonard Bernstein. Chastain, 48, bought the stored unit for $ 5.1 million in 2015.

It has now returned to the market for a slightly soft $ 6.49 million, according to Monday evening update on the Streteasy List.

The 3,200 -square -foot residence was previously presented to Digest Architecture and renovated by Carrier and AD100 designers. Modern equipment and a fresh color palette with resettled details of the century turn, including floors with oak parks, crown formations and carved doors.

The house remains in the same condition as it was when the photo ranking was last taken in 2024, when another luxury brokeler suppressed it. Two official living rooms boast of mahogany panel, 14 -foot ceilings and a bay window with lead transoms created by Tiffany Studio.

The primary bedroom includes a copper soaking bath and a wall with mirrored closure. She also enjoys one of the five fires of the apartment’s apartment.

Chastain is not the first famous artist to pass through the house mahogany halls. Chastain bought the house in 2015 from another composer, Adam Guettel – the grandson of the composer “The Sound of Music” Richard Rodgers.

Chastain moved to Osborne to the heels of her successes in “Zero Dark Thirty” in 2012 and “Interstellar” in 2014. She would continue to win an academy award for the best actress for her work in the 2022 film “The Eyes of Tammy Fay”.

Carl Gambino i Compass is now repeating the list. Brokerimi did not accept the request of the post for comment.

It is unclear why the “Molly’s Game” actress is going out on the way out, but she may have a lot of running with the alleged ghosts following the shocked halls of the 140-year-old building.

Osborne, similar to Dakota, is a cooperative of the gilded iconic and exclusive era. The Midtown building is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful apartment buildings on Street 57. Possessing a house there includes the benefits of a 24/7 Doorman, a roof landscape terrace and a living resident manager.
